Original Works
These are my current works, which were created throughout my years at NYU as an Undergrad. The styles range from Modern to Jazz Funk to Salsa Pop.
Jazz Funk // Touch - Little Mix
This project was a part of NYU's Dancers-Choreographers Alliance (DCA) Club's 2018 Fall Showcase. Dancers include: Yumi Liu (black/yellow camisol), Ashleigh Hale (black/orange long-sleeve), Avital Krifcher (pastel pink long-sleeve), and Sofía Shehab (red shirt/white jacket). I met up with some dancers from DCA an hour a week throughout the Fall semester to prepare my choreography for this extracurricular showcase. This footage is from the club’s performance archives.
Salsa Pop // Pretend - CNCO
This Salsa Pop piece was choreographed recreationally during my final semester at NYU Tisch, Spring 2019. My goal was to fuse social Salsa with Jazz Funk (commonly labeled as Hip-Hop), and have both styles present throughout the piece with a House-inspired sequence at the end.
Broadway Jazz // Sing, Sing, Sing - Benny Goodman
I choreographed this for my Broadway Jazz final during my last semester at NYU Tisch, Spring semester 2019. This piece was created with two contrasting emotions in mind: confidence and anxiety.
Modern // How Far I’ll Go - Auli’i Cravalho
This piece was created for the final project for a Modern Dance class I took during my Spring semester of my Sophomore year (2017) at NYU Tisch. This is one of my earlier works, and I like to look back on it to reference my choreographic tendencies as well as my first influences. Although my eye for choreography wasn't as developed at the time, this work holds a special place in my heart.
Flamenco Freestyle // Aunque es de noche - Rosalía
This was a documented practice for an introductory Flamenco course I took during the Fall semester of my Junior year (2017) at NYU Tisch.
